| Summary | The results of the goniometric study of some natural quartz crystals are represented. It describes light reflections from faces of various simple forms in different vertical angle zones. It gives possible conclusions on growth conditions of these crystals on the base of goniometric data. Th e results of goniometric study of growth steps on faces of main bipyramid of marcasite crystals from Cambrian clays of Leningrad region are described. Symbols of their butts include rational and relatively small indexes, however, these symbols do not correspond to theoretic possible faces of crystals of this mineral. It emphasizes the importance of precise goniometric study of mineral crystals for revealing of fine peculiarities of crystal formation in nature, which can have practical applications. | ||
