| Summary | The article aims to analyze the series of �Himmerland Stories� in the general context of the work of the great Danish writer and poet Johannes V. Jensen�s (1873-1950). The article defines the place of �Himmerlad Stories� within the body of Jensen�s work, as well as within the context of the Danish short story tradition. It also focuses on the main philosophic, historic and mythic components of �Himmerland Stories�, as well as its composition features and correlation to Jensen�s other works. | ||
