Summary The authors consider social destabilization as a phenomenon which causes the outburst of deviant activities aggravating extreme (marginal) forms of its manifestation, producing the escalation of social disparity together with other negative processes which inspire crime. In the XXIst century crime has become one of the most complicated social problems forming political and legal nihilism among the young people.
