Summary This article describes theoretical review on studies of emotional sphere, the contemporary conceptions on subjective valuation of emotions and body component of emotional experience. The concept of emotional well-being is regarded as one of the factors defining the quality of life - the complex and integral indicator that unites the objective and subjective criteria of health evaluation. The authors describe the integrative character of the parameter of the emotional wellbeing and necessity of elaboration of a complete system of the indicators of its evaluation based on contemporary researches. Groups of such indicators are proposed: 1) mental health indicators in healthcare, 2) pshychodiagnostics of the emotional sphere: data of self-reports and subjective evaluation of emotional sphere and social interaction.
